• Pesapal — payment processing (M-Pesa, Visa/Mastercard)

4. Data Security

Our website uses HTTPS (SSL encryption). All payments are processed on Pesapal’s PCI-DSS certified platform. We do not store payment card details on our servers.

5. Data Retention

Contact and enquiry data is retained for up to 2 years. Financial transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by Kenyan tax law.

1. Services

Glacier HVAC Solutions provides heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) services including installation, repair, maintenance, duct cleaning, smart thermostat installation and 24/7 emergency call-outs within Mombasa and the Coast Region of Kenya.

2. Quotations & Booking

All quotes are free and valid for 14 days from the date issued. A booking is confirmed once a deposit or full payment is received. We reserve the right to adjust quotes if on-site conditions differ materially from the initial assessment.

3. Payment Terms

• Accepted methods: M-Pesa (Pesapal), Visa/Mastercard (Pesapal), and Equity Bank transfer
• A deposit of up to 50% may be required before work commences
• The remaining balance is due upon completion of works
• All prices are in Kenya Shillings (KES) and inclusive of applicable taxes

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• 24+ hours notice: Full refund of any deposit paid
• Less than 24 hours: A cancellation fee of up to 20% of the quoted amount may apply
• Emergency call-outs are non-cancellable once a technician has been dispatched

5. Warranty

• Labour warranty: 90 days from the date of service completion
• Parts warranty: As per the respective manufacturer’s warranty terms
• Warranties are void if equipment is tampered with by a third party after our service

6. Liability

Glacier HVAC Solutions is not liable for: pre-existing faults not disclosed at booking, damage caused by power surges or flooding, or any consequential losses arising from equipment failure outside our warranty period. Our total liability is limited to the value of the service contract.

7. Client Responsibilities

The client must ensure safe and unobstructed access to equipment, disclose known faults or hazards, and ensure that electrical supply meets minimum requirements for the system being installed or repaired.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to the courts of Kenya with jurisdiction in Mombasa County.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
